Olimpia Dynarek is a pianist and composer based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her musical journey started when she, at the age of 10, found an abandoned piano in an apartment. Without any musical background, she began to play,
fell in love, and has not been able to stop since.

Her formal musical education began with classical piano, providing her with a strong technical and musical foundation. At the same time, she felt a growing desire to break free from rules and expectations, to find her own voice beyond the boundaries of tradition. In her late teens, she was introduced to jazz — a turning point that opened the door to improvisation and composition. This new musical language sparked a curiosity to challenge norms and conventions, shaping her artistic voice into one that moves freely between structure and spontaneity.

Today, she is an established musician and composer, active across a wide range of ensembles and genres. Her most recent work is a solo piano album, set to be released in the autumn of 2026. The album features minimalist compositions for felted piano and synthesizers, centered around rhythmic patterns and repeating structures,
exploring subtle textures within a quiet, introspective sound world.
